About the Project
Maca and the Bard is an original graphic novel currently in development. Set within a mythic landscape shaped by memory, music, and personal history, the story follows a cast of interconnected characters whose paths gradually converge as the deeper forces shaping their world begin to emerge.
The pages presented here are from the opening sequence of the story. While they are shown in full color, they should be considered early working drafts. Elements of image composition, layout, continuity, and visual flow are still being refined as the project develops.
At this stage I am continuing to explore stylistic direction, pacing, and page design while shaping the visual language of the narrative. The project remains in an early phase of development, and these pages represent an initial exploration of the story’s tone and atmosphere.
