ABOUT TODD

Todd Van Linda is an internationally award-winning conceptual artist for the movie and gaming industry with over 20 years of experience. Known in the business as a consummate professional, his creativity and restless imagination has been sought after by clients from all over the world.

Todd began his artistic journey at a young age, putting pencil to paper of scenes from his imagination, taking on commissions from his regular circle of RPG cohorts for their characters, illustrations of monsters and scenes from their many D&D campaigns, and illustrations for his buddies’ home-made dungeon modules. But It never occurred to him that art would eventually be his lifelong career. In college, Todd initially majored in business, taking on different roles in the family steel business; but those artistic urges just wouldn’t go away and die.  He decided to make his move and become a freelance artist, allowing himself the freedom to establish his own hours, travel, and not be held responsible for getting up late. Todd has never looked back since.

… Mainly because, if he did, There’s a risk he would run face first into something else. Todd’s previous clients include a who’s who of authors, artists, short film makers and other creatives that span a dozen creative and industrial fields.

Career Highlights

My first published work: "America's 30 Greatest Idioms and Their Origins" On sale at Amazon.com. I've done many since then, but this was my first - cover art, 30 interior illustrations, and my name on the cover. There have been many since then, but this one was the first. It was a big deal 😛
